.NET development is totally different from A8 programming. They should port project Mono to the A8 :P When I was at high-school I did a little A8 6502 assembly. At that time I didn't have an assembler so I did most on paper and entered the result in a simple monitor program. Not very productive. Then I moved to the Atari ST and did a few things in 68K assembly. One demo screen I made was released in the Nostalic-O-Demo years later.
Unfortunately nowadays I'm not coding anything for the Atari as my free time is limited :( But the old machines certainly have my interest as it was great technology and every machine has its own personality unlike modern system which all look and sound the same.

Although completely different, but someone with .NET experience is going to have a better clue then someone who has never coded before at all... Also assembly language isnt the only way to program an A8...
