I've just purchased a 7800 system.
Can anyone tell me the average price that I should be paying for 7800 carts?

Hey, most of the common games can be had from $1 - $5 depending on they have the box/instructions. The rarer games can go from $10 - $70 for the rarest game Tank Command.

You smartest move is to print out the list of game and then go on ebay to get an idea of what things are going for. Also, come and ask questions. The worst thing you can do is overpay.

And whatever you do, do not buy the common games from atari7800.com, unless you want to pay ridiculous prices.

Just as a guide, I paid $1-$2 for most loose cart 7800 games I ever got, including commons and not-so-commons (even a Tank Command). It was the last dozen or so games I needed, boxed or otherwise, that really put the screws to me in cost. Just a few more to go though and I'm done!

Thanks for the info. I just purchased three common boxed (and sealed) carts for $6...but just because "Galaga" was included in the lot.

By the way, does anyone have extra copies of "Scrapyard Dog" and "Joust" that they'd like to sell me?
