Intellivision and Sony had signed agreements to produce intellivision games and consoles.
Starting with the intellivision 2 and including the intellivision 3 and 4.

It would bring optical disc to the systems and they wanted re-write technology.

This sight is awesome. I also read where the controllers were made. It was close to me and the company is still in business!

I am tempted to call them ;) I could use some brand new controllers...

I don't want to spoil the whole thing, but think walkman!

It's interesting to see how long sony has been trying to get games on the market. They negotiated with nintendo to get an expansion for the SNES, didn't turn out, obviously.
