ziggystar
I did have half of the characters drawn but ran out of Antic characters to be able to pull it off. I might consider the NES Tengen title layout. I plan to have this done before November.

+Cafeman
Looking forward to it! I was wondering how many homebrewers would support the 5200's 30th anniversary.

Goochman
Sounds like Guantlet - an 8bit version was produced though it was average at best...........

+Cafeman
Does the title in ziggystar's graphic, which looks like "Estrapade", signify anything?
+DamonicFury
Sounds like Guantlet - an 8bit version was produced though it was average at best........... Yes, but Dandy Dungeons, the inspiration for Gauntlet, was originally programmed for the Atari 800 and its 4 joystick ports. :-) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dandy_Dungeons

+DamonicFury
Anyone catch the digitized sound? The music sounded great! I didn't hear anything else... did I miss something? (I used a multicart to try it out.)
ziggystar
So when you pressed start and the game screen loaded you didn't hear any speech?
+Cafeman
Just so I know - after the title screen, on the blue game screen itself - nothing happened for me in Atari800win - it was just a screen, no movement or sound. Is there more that I'm just not seeing or hearing? The title screen music is excellent. that wasn't digitized sound , it sounds like pokey music.
