Hello,

Are there any boards that fit inside the ST computers that add a Yamaha FM chip (i.e. YM2203)?

Thanks,

Can't remember what hardware the TweetyBoard adds (although I don't think it does
that), but it does give much better sound for music, at the cost of less quality sound
for digital samples.

"FM Melody Maker" is what you need. It's an old cartridge for the Atari ST which embarks an YM2413 that plugs in the cartridge port. It's similar to the FM Pac on the MSX computer. So you can play 9 channels FM or 6 channels + 5 drums, but on the contrary of the YM2203, the YM2413 is limited to 2 operators per channel. Anyway, you can still have some fun with it, my MSX has an YM2413 built in, and I love it ! ;-)
