Hi everyone,

I am using Visual batari Basic on Windows 7 - 64 bit and cannot compile.

I can generate my first "program" using the wizard, but it will not compile and complains about the 64 bit version of windows.

Is this because it is invoking DASM at some point and DASM does not work in W7 64bit?

Thanks!

I am using Windows 7 64-bit and get programs to compile, so that's not it. That's all I can say.

Okay cool. I'll just recheck my setup tonight and "delve a little deeper"...

Thanks!

I did a forum search on the keywords "64" and "batari" and came up with a post referencing R.T. troubleshooting section:
http://www.randomter...troubleshooting

It mentions some extra steps for 64 bit.

Feel free to post your test code... while bB is generally easy, highlighting where syntax problems are isn't one of its strengths.

Thanks a lot guys!

I did not even know about that fix on the Batari website.

I will try this tonight, really appreciate it!
