Picked up 3 of these recently, looking to expand my CoCo library,but they won't play. 2 of them freeze at the title screen, one doesn't start at all. Is there a preferred CoCo model I should try or is it just not going to work?

I don't think they'll work directly like that. I think they're *almost* compatible but need some tweaking.
