JohnnyRockets
Hi all, Looking to play around with some programming in (hopefully) "C" for any version of the Gameboy (not picky). Can someone point me in the right direction for the right (or most standard) IDE/Compiler Combo? Possibly some tutorials? I have been here: http://www.devrs.com/gb/software.php#appide but could not "figure out" which tool to use.... I'm pretty comfortable with C++, and have just finished a couple college courses in this. I said comfortable! Not good! Thanks!
+Gemintronic
If you can't figure out this: http://devkitpro.org/ Then you may consider going back to BASICs http://www.gbadev.org/tools.php?showinfo=

Wait, I just checked the website and it is available, I guess it just became available from this site in May. Thanks, I'll check it out... Meaning, unlike 5200BAS or BasiEgaXorz where the developers have never officially declared termination Jeff Massung has seemed to do so. He almost made a GP32 port but never got out of alpha. Care to single-handedly resurrect the BASIC GBA scene JohnnyRockets? Edited August 3, 2012 by theloon

Care to single-handedly resurrect the BASIC GBA scene JohnnyRockets? Well, I don't know about "single-handedly" but it is all really cool stuff to play with! Thanks a lot for all the great, great links! JR
