Hi all

recently found vids on youtube of pang and ghosts n goblins for the xl which look superb, both were w.i.p but there is no info anywhere on whether they are still in development or have been dropped.

does anyone know anything about these two projects?

:?

Tebe completed Pang some time ago. He created a level designer and set a competition to design levels to be included in the release which (iirc) didn't get much response and I've not heard anything about it since. G&G (iirc about that also) was only a proof of concept demo by Gonzo.

Hi.

The contest was set at AtariOnline and it had some participants and many levels.

But how many Tebe wanted? I don't remember it was said there that he need more levels (the calendar of the contest and the Prizes were setled and people send their proposals with lots of files and some videos).

The game is supposed to have between 24->48 levels and 12 different screen looking gfxs:

The contest ended on October 30 in 2011 with 29 Levels done (that is more than 24 but no 48):

The only screen I could discouver (it was on Google Images if you type "Pand Atari 8 bit" but when I posted here at AA he 'just disapeared'):

(I think it's the great Ooz that is behind the game screens and from here, even in a '.jpg' that we can have great expectations of Pang on A8)

I think that Kaz is the best one to explain this as it was via AtariOnline that we had the Contest and Prizes.
