I've noticed that the music in the second stage of "Rampage" seems to be a slight variation on the ending sequence of "Gates of Zendocon". Were the two games coded by the same person/teams?

The music in both games was done by Lx Rudis. You will find his name in the credits in a lot of Lynx games. Ataritimes did a interview with him a while ago: http://www.ataritime...tv_lxrudis.html

There was also a piece of music in Rampage that is identical to one from Chip's Challenge, as well as another piece that was a remixed version.

One of the music pieces in Lynx Rampage can also be found in the old Epyx C=64 game, Movie Monster Game :-)
