adolobe
I have a complete in Box like New GP2X Wiz. I purchased this last year New and only played with it a few times, mostly PSX game. Once I got an Open Pandora I stopped using it and it has sat in its box since. Battery holds full charge and I even checked out the latest PSX emulator which plays most games at full or near full speed. There is also a wealth of classic console emu's for it as well listed below. Once great thing about the wiz is that it can be played outdoor in full sunlight. My wiz overclocks to 799 still has the original Screen film from manufacture Asking SOLD Computers Amiga (UAE4ALL) Amastra CPC (Wiz-CAP32) Atari ST (outcaST) Commodore 64 (Frodo) Commodore Computers (PET, 64, 128, c4++, etc.) (Vice) DOS (286, 386, 486, etc.) (Dosbox/Game-Specific Configuration Files) MSX (Wiz-MSX) Sinclair ZX80/ZX81 (sz81) Texas Instruments TI-99 (Wiz-TI99) SamCoupe (Wiz-SIM) TO7-70 (Wiz-THOM) ZX Spectrum (GP2Xpectrum) Home Game Consoles Atari 800/130/5200 (Wiz-Atari) Atari 2600 (Wiz-2600) Atari 7800 (Wiz-7800) Colecovision (Wiz-Colem) Sega Master System/Gamegear (AlexKidd2x) Sega Genesis/Megadrive/Sega CD (Picodrive) Capcom Play System 2 (CPS2Emu) NeoGeo CD (NeoCD4Wiz) NeoGeo (GnGeo) (Works well with TV-Out!) ComputerSpaceFan
Might be interested. How do you find the controls for playing PSX games? Do the cross-pad thingies replicate thumbsticks well? Or, I guess it doesn't do analog thumbsticks, only digital pads instead, right? adolobe
It uses the Dpad for the movement it actually works well, or at least it does for me. Ive had not problem using it on any of the 3D games with PCSX ReARMED emulator. You can check out youtube if you search for GP2X Wiz PCSX ReARMED the version R15 is the latest. roberto
Thanks for including links to all those emulators: as a Wiz owner, that's very handy!
ComputerSpaceFan
Tell you what Adolobe I had a look at some YouTubes last night to see PSX emulation on this device and although very impressive I'm going to pass. I just got a 3DS XL and when combineds with my portable Genesis, GBA and original DS Lite I am swamped with handhelds so I'm going to pass on the offer. I have a friend who once told me he wanted one of these and I emailed him last night to see if he was interested in yours but I never got a reply. If I hear from him and he wants me to get it for him, I'll reply again to this thread but if someone else wants your GP 2X go aherad and sell it. ARCZero
Hey Adolobe - I bought the Wiz from you last month, but still haven't received it. I tried to message you a couple times without response. What's up?
