Mclaneinc
Hi XXL, first link is munged / malformed.. Great idea, any other games being converted? I imagine a utility to convert a game automatically is out of the question as sectors used vary?
xxl
www.atarionline.pl - "Projekt HiScore" > any other games being converted? yes, any old game can be converted that way > I imagine a utility to convert a game automatically is out of the question as sectors used vary? for my poor English ask otherwise. I do not understand.
Mclaneinc
Sorry, I presume all the games need to be converted by you and a utility cannot be made to do it
xxl
new games you can write so that they used load/save scores/tokens via xbios - not need a mapram. but the old ones need to modify manually.

Mclaneinc
Those need the Altirra MAPRAM support To be honest you really should swap to Altirra anyway as its now streets ahead of Win Plus in emulation quality and features.

Yautja
BTW, I´ve just noticed that the system does not recognize that I have an active account. No matter if I enter my user name and a different password than log on. Maybe I have to disable the browser´s (Chrome) translation? - Y -

Yautja
Ok. I created the user, the DAT file and downloaded it. But, before and after playing, the program still reads as Player: Anonymous. - Y -
xxl
> I created the user, the DAT file and downloaded it. PLAYER.DAT is your personal player file, so replace anonymous player.dat on .atr, use e.g. http://www.serious-dial.atari.pl/makeATR/pliki/makeATR_v0.06.zip

Yautja
Make sure the file you downloaded is named Player.dta not Player.DAT. (Not DAT) Then over write the Player.dta file on the disk. -Mark Yes, the name of the file is right. I renamed it to player.dta. Now let me know if it is still necessary to convert it using the makeATR program. I was reviewing the videos posted at the beginning of this thread and noticed all have the same "anonymous" player. - Y -
