SOME THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT CENTIPETE
-- The version of the games i got are from video 61.
-- The games comes on an eprom card which is nice and thinck.
-- Centipede feels like regular centipede and the controls are good.
-- Centipede plays LONG ways like gauntlet so you hold it on its side
-- The screen starts out with a blue background not with a black one
-- There is NO SOUND
-- The spider dont go out of the same box that your man moves in. on the arcade it can go on the whole play field but not on the lynx only in the same box as the gunner. this makes it harder and raises the skill level so only real atarians can do well in the game.
-- The gaem has WONDERFUL packaging. The best you can ask for.
-- the game is well done and you can save your score.

time for a little honesty folks(not that there is not a time for this always).
we've had a few complainers out there on price with our offering of the
game centipede for you lyners/lynx collectors/atarians.
well,the truth about the $49.95 is that it costs us $35.00 a cart to make up
the game on an eprom.then we have the package and art to offer you to
give it a more pro look.this costs a few bucks.then we even free ship the
game to your door.now with this stuff in mind,the price we have in our
offering for folks that want a new lynx game to play/have in their collect-
ion has now jumped up to $41.00 total.this leaves us with a possible $8.00
dollars as a profit.no big game ads for it and such.just a small no frills ad/
post on atari age and google groups and such.no big official press releases
and stuff.at video 61 we're just "no frills fun" for you guys.please,no bad
email and calls and complaints about how you think we're gouging the lynx
community out there.-chris
