Nice move, I was a bit gutted when I read the title as I've just got the Hxc from you at more cost but the version I have has 3 buttons and the LCD - this was a good move as I can see that people might not want the LCD, it's nice to have options between the different models you provide.

The Hxc is awesome by the way, the people including yourself that designed, created and debugged these boards are amazing, trully amazing! It works so very very flawlessly, I wouldnt mind a 2nd one when I get an Amiga again at some point in future =)

Haha! Whats wrong with the Amiga - appart from not being Atari when it almost was an Atari!

I've bought an STe now lol and wouldnt mind one of these slims for it. Amiga will have to wait until I get more space.

What's the difference between this and the regular HxC? I see that this one doesn't have an LCD.

You answered your own question ;) It also has 1 button instead of 3 but from using the 3 button version with the LCD I can understand straight away how this works and would be almost as easy to use. If you watch the video you will see what I mean - it beeps so many times to indicate which 'slot' its on, eg 1 for the auto boot, 2 for the first disk, 3 for the 2nd disk etc. The idea with this model is to use the autoboot each time you want to change games I guess, but you can have 16 disks ready to go each time you've rebooted. It behaves identically to the 3 button + LCD version from what i've seen.

Lotharek, are these available to buy yet?

yep :-)

Jeff is .....geee. i`m going to say that... POLISHING firmware ;-)

ps. i`m from Poland and that above really sounded strange..

We have a nail salon down the road from me. The asians who run it wanted to call it "Polished Nails".

However a heavy accent was misunderstood and a very big sign was put up on the road....

"Polish Nail"

It has been like that for years and they haven't changed it because the business is registered to the town under that name. :-D
