Go here. http://www.pompom.org.uk/

Download the Mutant Storm demo. It's absoluetly amazing. The game is like a freshened up Robotron with just a very small dash of Asteroids and Xenophobe mixed in. Get out your favorite dual analog gamepad; you're going to need it. It's well worth the $20.

And to sweeten the deal, it's available for Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows.

Now that I've pried myself away from it, I think I'll go to bed.

I'll second the motion - Mutant Storm is great. I've had it for a few months now and it's definitely worth a download.

If you like Robotron or Smash TV, etc., you'll like this.

man....I downloaded the demos off that site a few weeks back.....guess I should try them out!

Thats one thing about the net and fast connections, sometimes when you are on a D/L spree, you forget all the junk you get!

Heh, I know what you mean. My download directory gets pretty unruly sometimes. I just cleaned it out last night. We'll see how long that holds up...

Wow, sometimes you listen to a song and you immediately know you're going to buy the album. I played this game for about 5 seconds and realized I was gonna be buying it. That I can play it natively under Linux rather than Wine just makes it even sweeter.

If it weren't past my bedtime I would be pulling out the Hotrod SE right about now.
