According to this, Miyamoto is working on an unnamed Metal Gear title for the Cube. This article is confirming its existance too. I don't know if I should trust gamesradar though. Doesn't sound like something he would do either. Seems kinda strange...

I just saw an article for a new fighting game in GI that's going to have one different bonus character on each platform. Guess who the bonus character is on GameCube? You got it. Personally I think we got robbed though - X-Box gets Spawn!

Not any new fighter,Soul Calibur 2!I think Link feels out of place,I mean all the characters are dark and stuff and link is in bright green.I think Spawn fits the best.

I know dude, that's why I'm saying that Cube owners are getting hosed. We should get Spawn.
