Hey all,

I'm new here and was curious: are there any places that sell the Atari Light Gun? Barnyard Blaster has just been sitting on my shelf and I can't do anything about it. I've checked ebay, but usually can't find it there.

Go to www.atarisales.com. Lance is a great guy, is based here in MN, & ships free if your order amount exceeds $25 & you live in the contiguous 48 states. I got my light gun & other goodies from him & I'm always satisfied!

Rob Mitchell makes a convertor which you can use to make an SMS light gun work as an Atari one. Except, I'm not sure he was making a full-time business out of selling them, so you'll have to ask him personally - it's not like I can say "oh he's got tons and they're $X apiece" because for all I know he only made one for me and one for him. I paid him what he said was a fair price for it though and believe me it's a lot cheaper to get an SMS light gun and the convertor than an XEGS gun (the same model as the 7800 one, they made it for both systems and never really made a "7800" speicif one).

I just checked B&C- including the minimum $8 UPS shipping fee they incur, plus they're farther from NY than MN, I'd go w/ atarisales. My light gun wasn't in its original box, but that's $10 more at B&C...

I got mine on ebay but I know telegames sell them over here in Blighty. I have four games so far.... Barnyard Baster... it is excellent, Meltdown is also great as is Alien Brigade but my fave is Cross bow with the light gun.

Just a note to say I brought my 7800 & light gun to my parents last weekend for a family get-together & people went NUTS! It was a big hit! My nieces & nephew asked where they could get one! I brought several other 2600/7800 games but Barnyard Blaster was the one most played. My older brother played until the party was over! Another great review for ATARI!

It is great to hear of people still getting into the old games and BB is one game that just had me cackling with joy. I love the story about your bro playin it into the night! :D Atari is 8) though I am not sure about the latest incarnation from Infogrammes in Europe.
