AND why did this game have magic?
.
.
.
I just finished it, and I can't decide if I like this game or not. Yes, it's a "good" game, but is it a great game? I have my doubts. I didn't feel that the characters were well-developed (flat), the first 40 hours of the game I found boring and almost quit, and yet it had a cool ending with all the seemingly-unimportant pieces coming together into a near-seemless whole.
NOW MAGIC: Why on earth did this game have magic? I barely used it, and when I did use it, the effect was pathetic. Through almost the entire game, I used physical attacks and no magic. I think that's a serious flaw in the game. It doesn't require thinking to just Attack-Attack-Attack by tapping the button real fast. This lack of strategy is another reason I found the game boring.
