Hmm... frankly, I'd rather pay the extra $21 and get the upgrades! A network adaptor alone would be worth the $21 I'd think.
Anyone know if there's going to be some way to tell the difference between these two generations of PS2? I'm sure it'll be a hot topic in 2012 when we're finding them all over thrift stores

Not really much of a price drop. More like giving people a $20 discount on the original model.
