Well, so far the best news from E3 as far as I'm concerned has been the two new Mario games for the GBA on display.

First, there's Mario and Donkey Kong, a real old school platformer akin to the Donkey Kong that came out for the Game Boy back in '94. (The best DK since the original.)

Then there's Mario & Luigi; an RPG that apparently plays very similarly to the the best RPG of the past ten years: Paper Mario.

DISCLAIMER: All opinions are those of the author. The use of the phrase "best RPG of the past ten years" does not necessarily reflect the opinions of AtariAge, Major League Baseball or the hordes of "Final Fantasy" fanboys out there. Thank you, God bless and eat your carrots.

Yeah, I can play Super Mario Advance 2 for hours, but it's about time that some originals were released.

Im a huge fan of Paper Mario, and cannot wait to play "Mario and Luigi", looks like it could be much more challenging playing as both of the characters strategically

Finally! Finally something new! I knew Nintendo would eventually make a new Mario game for the GBA...

Both of these actually look really fun. I have the GB version of Donkey Kong, and it's crazy fun... hopefully Mario & Donkey Kong will live up to it.

As for Mario & Luigi, it sounds great also! I still haven't played Paper Mario yet, but the control scheme sounds cool. I keep picturing Mario jumping up, Luigi jumping underneath him, and then Mario jumping a second time off of Luigi's shoulders... although I keep seeing it in a platform type game.

I really hope these aren't the final names for these games though...
