the Dreamcast could be a nice little niche system to develop for since i doubt that Sega still requires a licensing fee for somebody to publish a game for it.

You like 4-player games the best, Kisrael? Do you play Chu Chu Rocket much? While I also like Worms or Bomberman, I love Chu Chu in multi-player mode and don't ever see many people list it when they talk multi-player games.

Yeah, as I'm sure too many people on the board can attest, 4 player onscreen multiplayer is my favorite genre, and why I'm such a Nintendo fanboy.

Chu Chu Rocket is pretty good, but almost...I dunno, overstimulating? It's hard to get a grip on it when the torrents of mice come, and sometimes it seems to have a bit too much of an element of chance.

or sometimes, one person is so much better at it, the other people get ticked and want to play something else.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned Stupid Invaders.
That game was hilarious...
When they had to get the cow to poop to fuel their space ship...
and the gay alien...
funny stuff!!!

Another game I like that isn't mentioned much is Record of Lodoss War.

I just started playing this game the other night when I found it amung the CD's I borrowed from my brother, and damn is this game awesome! This is definitely one that I'll be going out and buying...

Somehow this game reminds me of Ultima 8... Except for the fact that it doesn't suck!

I have to admit, out of all of the systems I bought in the last few years (N64, GC, PS2, DC). I have NEVER regretted buying a DC. I still think the DC has the best library for a next gen system. They had so much diversity with the software, and such high quality games. To this day I still don't understand how the DC didn't succeed.

My cuurent faves are:

SoulCaliber (this game still looks beautiful and it's a launch title)
Jet Grind Radio
Space Channel 5
Giga Wing
Skies of Arcadia (also Grandia II is excellent)
Virtua Tennis

There are too many great games for this system! Off to play some Gigawing...... ;)

Take care,
Sean

Yeah, buying a Dreamcast was possibly the best purchase I've made in the last few years. Mostly because everything is so cheap for it! Microplay is selling some Dreamcast games for $5! I mean hell, it's better than Playstation stuff, which is selling for more.

To my knowledge, the only game I ever spent more than $30 on (out of about 45 that I own) was NHL 2K2, since I'm a hockey nut, and I was worried the game would have low distribution and be hard to find.

And damn, I must have logged about 10 hours of Record of Lodoss War in the last 2 days... I think I'm getting carpal tunnel...

Stupid Invaders and Record of Lodoss War are great games :)

I have +160 original games and many for trade (30 or 40 games, new & used), I'm looking for US-only released titles, so if you have something to sell/trade email me :)
