Well, I tried. I tried to like this game, but it didn't do it for me. I think I've been spoiled by Parasite Eve and Eternal Darkness which were *truly* scary. RE2 just made me yawn.

I didn't think it was vey scary either. I did play thru the entire thing and enjoy the time I did spend on it though.

It was scary in 98. Things have moved on since then. For my money Silent Hill is scarier than RE. Eternal Darkness didn't actually scare me much but I loved it all the same - great sense of drama. I guess just as the same things don't make us all laugh, the same games don't scare us all in the same way.

RE2 is a ton of fun,but it doesn't have to be scary to be fun.I think that Silent Hill is too the scariest game.

I just don't get scared by video games (same with movies). I realize there just not real. That said, RE2 is still fun to play, I need to buy it for N64.

To heck with the RE series... Haunted House freaks me out. I mean, I can't play it with the lights off and even then I'll jump a mile when the spider appears and the thunder cracks!!!
