So far, I have 55% completed and I own 15 properties in the game.

The mission, "Keep Your Friends Close" is really fucking hard hard though!

Any advice? I need to beat this mission.

Easy...take the disk out of the console, lay it on a flat surface, and whap it repeatedly with your boot heel until it conforms.

Yeah I'm finding this game VERY frustrating as well..but umm..ehe..I'm only like 15% *cough* complete

I havent beat pert 3 yet so I'm holding off on VICE until I do (I figure I'll be able to pick one up for $6.99 by then)

I do remember part 3 had a bazillion cheats tho....of course...That would be cheating.

Here's what I did (recalling from four months ago):

Crouched down by the safe (in office) and used the "machine gun" to take out the guys entering the room...do this until you get a break in the action (as I believe they will keep coming forever). Exit the office (cutscene will play).

Go right and up the stairs after Lance (ignore everyone else...in other words - don't stand there and try to shoot bad guys). When you get to the staircase that leads up to the roof, go down to the bottom: more firepower and vest). Then up to the rooftop (cutscene will play).

Immediately go the the left (I believe there's a health by a dumpster). Make your way up the the helipad - the bad guys won't follow you up there. Take your time and launch grenades from the pad until you kill Lance.

After this point, instead of going back down the stairs, I jumped from the roof (can't die from a fall). But you want to do this towards the back of the mansion so that you can come around from the right side and take out the Limos in the front (rocket launcher works). Make sure you blow both of them up (believe there are two) and use the one closest to the stairs leading into the house for cover.

You can take Tony out from a distance (behind the Limo) or you can charge the stairs (after taking out the other Mafia guys) and hit him with a couple of grenades.

This took more than a fair amount of time to do. Difficult, but can be done...

Exactly how i did it , except to kill tony i just sniped from the bottom of the stairwell on the left.

Im now going for %100,

BTW, I found the rocket launcher way too buggy for this game, So only use it for the limos

Thanks for the advice.

I spend too much time trying to kill all the bad guys or to protect my loot.

I don't think I can get 100%..my stupid brother..VERY stupid brother..entered a cheat code that got saved onto the current game..

At least I've made it this far.

I'm going to take the advice and try and beat this mission!

Don't worry about your loot - I think it's more of a diversion to keep you coming back to the safe than anything else...it never ran all the way out for me.

There are/were only a few missions that were as bad (if not worse) than this one...

Don't remember the titles but will describe as follows:

1) Stealing cop uniforms and retrieving evidence from the downtown mall. Returning with the evidence - VERY frustrating...

2) Biker initiation involving a disturbance of the peace (time limit of less than 2:00 minutes) - May GOD help you...

3) Another time scenario that starts out with you sniping a worker on a billboard - this game is SADISTIC!

On the other hand...the porno (movie lot) with CANDY SUXXX is rather entertaining!
