Oh, and by the way... does Nester not work with Legend of Zelda 2, or do I just have a bad rom?
You have a bad rom
Yeah, it turns out that I did... I should have run GoodNES on them before I burned I guess. Turns out that Marble Madness was a bad rom too, and crashes shortly into the game. Maybe I'll burn another disk with fixed roms, and give the old one to my brother (I wouldn't mind doing this anyways, since I made a handful of mistakes the first time... forgot TMNT 1, had the Japanese version of Bump 'n' Jump and Megaman 4, etc)
However, I still have a fairly long list of games that don't seem to work:
Games that show just a black screen:
Adventures of Rad Gravity
Alfred Chicken
All-Pro Basketball
Bigfoot
Castle of Dragon
Death Race
High Speed
L'Empereur
Mig-19 Soviet Fighter
Pinbot
Robocop 3
Stadium Events
Tiny Toon Adventures 2
Treasure Island Dizzy
Wally Bear & The No Gang
Widget
Win, Lose or Draw
Zen - Intergalactic Ninja
Games that show just a black screen, yet play sound effects:
Castle of Deceit
Cliffhanger (white screen instead)
Gyruss
Silent Assault (Music sounds garbled)
Games that screw up in other ways:
King of Kings (Flashing garbage on screen)
Ninja Kid (Garbled graphics)
Rygar (Glitchy, and quickly hangs)
Skull & Crossbones (Flashing garbage)
Tiles of Fate (Game quickly hangs)
Videomation (Refuses to start)
Obviously, this is pretty decent considering that this is a relatively small number, since I burned hundreds of roms onto the disc... and most of the games are rather forgettable. However, not having Rygar or Gyruss kind of sucks. Can anyone confirm that any of the above work with NesterDC? I've been using version 7.1, which I was told had slightly less compatibility than 7.0 due to changes in the sound system. I should also point out that all of the above roms were good according to GoodNES

Ze_ro: PM me if we can rectify this...
Rectify what?

Due to laziness i really dont know whether quake is rewritten or if there is a frontend to emulate.
I'm fairly sure they ported the source code... writing a whole emulator to play Quake would be quite a task! I was actually looking forward to Quake on the Dreamcast, until I found out that it has no mouse support

Playing FPS games with the DC joypad doesn't work well for me... I'll just continue playing the game on my PC.
