Finally completed this game with my brother on Saturday.

60% of game finished so far.

15 properties owned.

Over $500,000 earned.

Almost all asset missions completed.

Hmm. I'm going to try and find the rest of the hidden packages and all.

It just feels great to beat a game!

I think you have to own certain properties in order to get an attack helicopter. I do not know for sure.

Try http://www.gamefaqs.com and they should have some info on how to get attack helicopters.

So far, I've used the Maverick, Police Maverick, News Chopper and the water plane.

Any luck?

Sorry for the delayed response. if memory serves, it's finish the game and get all properties. Then when you get in your police uniform you should be able to fly any other helicopter into the army compound, and the attack copter should be there. One of the easiest (and for me, only) ways of beating the vigilanted missions.

Fun game.

No luck so far, I’m not where near finishing the game. I just got the mansion on that island.

The important thing is to take things one mission at a time. Concentrate on beating one mission and then when your comfortable..do the other missions.

The mansion was not easy to get..from what my brother told me as I was not around when he got the mansion.

I'm trying to beat the Vigilante missions..having already gotten the attack chopper. All I have left for assets is the docks..where I need to complete the boat races to get the asset for that property.

I've gotten as high as Vigilanted level 7. I think you need to get above level 10 to get the bonus for that.

It's still a very fun game.

I can't wait for GTA:Toyko 2010...as I believe it will probably be called..not sure though.

Huh, I thought you couldn't get the copter 'til you beat all the assets...maybe it's just 'til you own all the assets? (i.e. purchased but not generating revenue)

I thought it was 12, but don't quote me.

Anyway, yeah, the copter does take a bit of getting used to, it's not a cakewalk, very easy to crash into buildings and especially easy to overfly your target. Plus, the way the camera swings around to show what's behind you, even if you're just barely moving backwards, means you need to learn to just barely keep creeping forward. I only use the missiles, I only later realized I had a machine gun option.

Sometimes you just get in the groove, and then it's fun to see how far you can go, get a full warning level, slam the copter down near a Pay N Spray, grab a car, and then barrel your way through the cops...if you can survive that, you're one tough hombre! I'm not sure if when I did that it was up to full wanted, or just one less than full...

Huh, hadn't heard any rumors. (Haven't been paying that much attention).

I was wondering if a blade runner-esque world would be fun, or if flying cars is just too far removed from our reality to have the same edge.... I guess 2010 is near enough that things will still be recognizable, but they can throw in some gratuiotus high- and bio-tech for kicks.

Last time I played I had...

21% completed
6 Properties owned
30 out of 25 Rampages
60 out of 10 Packages found
7 out of 15 stores knocked off
Highest Vigilante level- 4
Highest Paramedic level- 6
Highest Fire truck level- 6
Dropped off 70 people in Taxis

(Only thing that sucks is since I did the Tank mission the Army kills me anytime I try to do the mini-gun Rampage by the Airport. Any advice for doing Death Row?)
