I got one of these units, cleaned it all up, put on a new RF cable and got some batteries. (I don't have a power supply) It works!

Got some questions though... When playing the game (the pinball one) it seems to lock up randomly. (the flipers don't respond for a moment, then they start to work again.) Can anyone explain this?

Also.. what power supply will work with this unit?

The AVPinball uses the same PS as the 2600: 9v DC pos tip.

The logic chip that takes the signals from the flipper buttons may be going bad. I had an AVP with a locked up flipper ... and I switched out that chip from another trashed AVP and all is well.

What chip is that on the MB? Is it marked? Is it easy to replace?

Humm... not sure if I can find another unit, I don't suppose that chip can be found elsewhere? (perhaps I can pick up a "as is" one on ebay...)

Seems that all the Atari Units use that 2600 power supply... is this a easy power supply to obtain? It seems that I need several of them.
