I had someone give me a DC over the weekend. Seriously!!! I have been looking for places online to burn games from but I am coming up short for alot of the titles that I would like. Can someone help me with where I can go to download good DC games?? I know that this is illegal but somebody has got to know something. It all seems quite ellusive so far.

Wanna know what's wierd? In all my journeys across the internet, i've never met anyone else who bought their DC at launch.

Two of my friends did. I actually bought them both for them 'cause I got a discount at K-Mart (yes) when my wife worked there. Two DC's, two copies of Soul Calibur.

Of course, we'd been playing Japanese DC's for months at that point. I didn't have $225 to throw down for the set, though, so I didn't get one until X-mas of that year.

It's a great system. It may end up becoming my favorite of all time.

You're better off buying them. Seriously. You can find Dreamcast games for like $10, and you get a whole manual and case, you don't need to worry about ripped/downsampled movies, slow downloads, choppy music, boot disks or anything. It's very much worth the money. Besides, most of the people I know who pirate these games get almost no enjoyment out of them... they just stick them all in a binder and never play them because they're busy trying to download others. If you actually pay for your games, you'll enjoy them that much more.

Besides, looking on the web for Dreamcast games is a bad idea... downloading that much data doesn't work well through webpages, too many bad/old links and crappy transfer speeds. You're generally better off finding friends who already burned the games.

If you want free ports, homebrews, and emulators check out www.dcemulation.com

They have some real cool stuff.
