This game is getting semi rare. Sealed it goe for $65+ on ebay if you can find it. Has anyone played it?

Played it; still about one more go around from becoming King Cubivore (you actually have to play through the game a few times to "beat" it).

Very weird, fun game that definitely isn't for everyone. But it's great fun trying to get all the mutations and hoping about eating things. And since it's gaining value, I'll keep it for sure!

Dang, sorry to here it's becoming a chase item, it looked interesting, but not so interesting I'd pay more than for a regular new game for it.

I hear it is a good game as well, I just haven't heard what type of game it is. Puzzler, fighter, hop-n-bop??? SOmething completely new?? I'm just interested in that mainly.

It's an evolution game. You control a little creature and you go around eating other creatures and absorbing their powers and becoming new creatures.

The graphics are really bad, but I still want this game because I like Atlus and I like quirky games.

This topic has just given me a reason to rationalize the purchase of a used Cubivore as an investment. Last time I checked, GameStop had a used copy for either $35 or $40. I sure hope they still have that "buy 2 used games get 1 free" deal, because in that case I'll buy it.

I work as a Game Tester at Atlus. Unfortunately, Cubivore was released before I started working there.... that is kind why I was curious. That is also why I know the production was really low. I have an open game I just got to play, and I got one to keep sealed to sell later. :D

First, let me say that you playtest for the coolest game company out there!

Second, I went by GameStop and they didn't have it. The guy was all like "Ha Ha Ha! This guy's looking for Cubivore!" *rest of store breaks out into laughter* "They don't even make that game anymore! Good luck finding it! It's like the rarest game in exsistence!"

Maybe I'm exagerating a little bit, but now I could kick myself for not picking up a new copy when I had the chance.

There is a thread about Cubivore in the ebay forum.... some people seem to be able to still find it.... although aside from the ones my friend bought, I have not seen it for months.
