The label scan in the database is wrong, that's why I am pointing it out. The label looks like the box scan ! ;)

That picture is not one that he took. That is a picture that I took of a PAL cart and previously asked in the Atari 2600 forum if all the pal carts had that label. I later used the photo to auction off the PAL cart on ebay.

He has previously sold it or has more, see this auction.

http://cgi.ebay.com/...item=3028153100

I specifically emailed him about the previous auction and asked if the cart that would be sent if I bid and one was the one in the picture. I wanted to see what he would say because if he said it was the actual picture, I was going to point out that he was using my photo. He never responded to the email, probably remembered where he got the photo and recognized the name from the email.

I had the same exact experience:
http://cgi.ebay.com/...item=3029523139

The auction was over and he immeadiately offered it to me for 38.89
I also asked about the cart and he said it was the one in the picture. One thing that I thought was odd. The high bidder was from Philly and he is too.

That's what I thought too. I let the '2nd chance offer' pass.

I think I have seen the NTSC Lable style too one time for a PAL Version. When I not wrong sold in Australia. But maybe the seller has make a mistake and it was a NTSC Version.

Normaly the PAL Lables look like this in the auction, and the NTSC Lable like the picture from CPUWIZ. :)

Whoa...I had no idea you guys were in here talking about my auctions. I picked up this cart for $15 at a yard sale, took a pic, and put it up on EBay, for God's sake. I never received an email about the former auction from ANYONE. Want to see more pics? Email me and you'll get 'em. I didn't steal anyone's pictures, thank you very much, and I very much resent the fact that you think I did. Want to see a picture of me standing on my head holding the cart in the auction? It can be arranged. Thanks also for lablelling me as a crook and a thief for just trying to sell a cart - I guess 61 positives and no negs on EBay mean nothing to you fine collectors.

By the way, this IS the second time I'm listing this cart. The previous high bidder (who happened to be from the same state as me - gee, I MUST be a crook) told me in no uncertain terms that he basically had no intentions of paying for this auction (this is like the 3rd time I got screwed trying to sell a 2600 cart, go figure). Instead of going through all the crap involved with an NPB, I made a second-chance offer. And, the picture in this auction is the same as the first auction, I just shrunk it.

Sheesh...

It's still the PAL version and apparently untested. :|

Auction listing was modified to reflect that it's a PAL cart. I did test the cart and both sides worked. However, my screen did not roll and the colors did not look "off", so the thought of this being a PAL cart (or the fact that a PAL version even existed!) did not occur to me. I certainly wasn't trying to dupe anyone here...

Good point, missed your post the first time 'round.

Actually, if you want to get technical about it, I make no claim whatsoever in my auction that it's an NTSC cart. I would expect people who bid on my auctions (or feel the need to "warn" other people about them) to know what the hell they are looking at.

And anyway...are BOTH versions of this cart not rare? I see nothing in the rarity guide on this site that implies that a PAL version is more common.

I understand that you feel attacked and want to defend yourself, but you are making waaaaay to big a deal out of this. If everyone in the Atari collecting community felt that this was bunk, you wouldn't have a bid on the cart, correct?
