I'm not huge on sports games. I'll play baseball and basketball often enough, but the only series I come back to over and over and genuinely love is the Madden Football series. Something about how long the series has run, and how good all the games are. I always have a blast with each new installment I pick up.
Anyways, I just wanted to find out which ones are everyone's favorite. Mine would have to be Madden 64 and Madden 2002 (for GC), though I just picked up Madden 2001 for the N64, it'll be interesting to play a scaled down version of the PS2 hit (I'm hoping this one becomes a favorite of mine as well).

Personally I think they're all rather unspectacular... but I have almost no interest in football, so I'm somewhat biased. The only football game I ever really took any interest in at all was NFL 2K1 for the Dreamcast.
I could never get into all the play making and such. I guess you pretty much have to be a football fan/player to actually understand the strategy.
