Why does Frogger always seem to sell in excess of what one might think it's rarity would command?

$6.50!?!...and the shipping is $3.50. I don't get it. Perhaps I'm missing something.

I haven't been actively tracking Frogger sells on eBay, but when I spot lone Froggers in the listings, it seems as if they always have a bid and it's often higher than I would expect for such a common cart. Why is this and has anyone observed a similar market behavior with any other common titles?

Probably because it's a fun game. You won't see E.T. getting that kind of bid.

because of idiots like me, who don't know any better, but want a particular game for a nonsensical reason :)
