When is the lit version gonna be around -- I looked at their site, but my lack of language skills failed me :-(

I played with the non lit version and it was devilish hard to see the screen (GBA stylee) -- but I fancy emulation on the go, so if and when a lit machine appears I'm there!!!!

I just bought a FLU last week and let me tell ya, it's a pain in the ass to set up. If Gamepark ever decides to market the GP32 in America (not likely) they better do away with the having to download necessary programs off the internet to make the system even do anything. It took me at least two hours to actually upload a program into it. I'm running XP and I was getting a lot of errors with the USB drivers and the PC Link Host program. Also, GamePark doesn't mention exactly how to upload programs to the system. You basically have to figure out your self or ask someone else :| .

??? You're the first person I see writing that... The GP32 screen is *much* clearer than the GBA's one !
(I'm talking about the classic GBA, not SP)

Yep, you need one good hour to set up everything...
(there are many faqs for help! did you read them?)
But then everything is fine, ready four hours of play and fun :)

In the next weeks/months, a slightly new version of GP32 will be released, and will be sold with a CD with all the software you need to set up everything. I hope it will be much easier for everybody :)
