Since the eary days of my PS2 Christmas 2002 I felt guilty not buying an XBOX just because of stupif GTA 3 and Vice City I got them both and beat them both! then foolishly realizing that my EA sports games looked crappy compared to my friends on his XBOX!!! and the fact that he could download CD's into his machine! I trded for a brand new XBOX and the controllers got smaller for all of you think that the XBOXs controllers are big well guess again the new S controller is smaller than the original line of monster controllers!!! I feel lood and with built in ethrnet things seem to get better by the minute!!

Bye Bye PS2 Hello XBOX!!

Wouldn't miss GTA even if every single game in the series vanished from the face of the earth! (If I see a Smurf videogame basing itself off of GTA, I'd burn it!) And also not thinking of trading in my PS2 yet. But hey, that's your business!

You should've kept the ps2.. AND got the xbox. And while you're at it snag a Gamecube as well. Why limit yourself ;)

I have a PS2 but I'm never trading or selling it.

I don't want an XBOX or a Cube.

You made a good trade, in my opinion. I regret not trading my PS2 away long ago but I have the collecting bug so basically I keep everything. But I think the last time my PS2 was turned on was Thanksgiving, when a friend who came over wanted to play, oh, I don't even remember. I've been disappointed with the thing from day one to day last.

Even when I had a job developing for it ;) .

I actually like the big controllers, but can see where ppl complain about them. Thank god though for the smaller ones, since my kids can't possibly use the big ones.....

Well, I have to admit it can't be easy to pass up on the upcoming Gradius 5, R-Type Final, Castlevania, and already out titles such as anything from Sega, and Smackdown SYM.

At least, thats all I want one for ;p

That was my problem My friend had the XBOX since it came out and I liked it alot but being a nintendo fanboy wanted a cube they I saw how hideous it was I wanted a PS2 because of GTA forgetting the coolness of having a HD on your console! soo ive too have been dissapointed since Ive bought it... even walking into the Babbages store i felt no remorse all I came for was a XBOX and thats what I left with!

I thank all of those of you who approve of my move others will come in time (j/k) ;)

I had 10 games for the PS2 the mem card 2 controllers and the Carring Case (official)

1. GTA 4: Vice City
2. GTA III
3. Gran Turismo 3
4. Madden 2003
5. Triple Play 2002
6. NBA Live 2002
7. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3
8. Max Payne
9. Dark Cloud
10. Robotech: Battlecry

and now I have a XBOX 2 controllers and 4 games

1. Project Gotham Racing
2. NBA Live 2003
3. Madden 2003
4. World Series Baseball (SEGA Sports)

My Friend lend me Halo and its awsome now I know why people are sick of it because its good!!

Almost done beating it!

Its the poor mans mod, This works with the action replay 2 (GamesharK) and u can play pirate shite, Or in my case just an emulator. Simple steps are as follows.

Remove face plate (with the sony logo) off the cd drive. OMG, youve done the mod already!

Now, load action replay, ps2 disc for ps2 games, or ps1 one discs for ps1 games. Select play game without codes. Heres the tricky bit. U need to fool the PS2 ( not rocket science) into thinking the drive is closed. Look under the gap in the drive and there is a white pin almost in the middle. Push this all the way over to the right. Pull the tray out, swap discs, push the tray in, push pin to te left, And now play whatever.

Sounds tricky but is really easy... This is old and u all probably know it. Eric asked so i answered.

PS, used a credit card with a hook shape cut out of it
