I loved this game. I think I beat it on all settings. did you find all of the hidden rooms and items? Some of the hidden stuff is funny as shit. I really liked shooting Santa :D Multiplayer is sweet too. And even tho you fight the same enemies thruout the whole game, I never got tired of it.

Hey! I JUST started playing this game too! Last night even. Been having a blast.. it's very "Doom" like in how it's just straight up FPS shooting. No sneaking around etc. I'm digging it :)

Xbox.. I've had the pc version since it came out but never installed it  But I'm enjoying the xbox version. It's just so much easier since you don't have to "install" it :)

I've only played the demo for PC, and as all the reviews have said, it's like Doom, as if Doom hadn't been made until today's technology was available. Beautiful, fast, and fun.

I have a Beta Version (legally gained) for the pc and finished it on all settings. I love it! It is indeed very doom like and keeps you on your toes from beginning to end. I love the egyptian theme coz i like egypt

I've had it on the box for a while but I got stuck at the bit where you have to pick up the 4 ankhs and place them in the middle of the arena one at a time..... Just way too much to kill and I only got like 3 or 4 lives.

When I get really stuck and just can't go on, I do as Homer says, ' If it's too hard to do, then it's not worth doing.' :D

Santa appears in Serious Sam: The Second Encounter for the PC. The PC version of Serious Sam is two separate games, while the Xbox combines them into one game (you might already know this). You'll find him towards the end of the game, in the snow level.

I like Serious Sam; very fun and chaotic. Fans of the PC version may want to check out Will Rock (not sure if this is on any of the consoles, though), which is basically a rip-off of Serious Sam but, judging from the demo, the creature and weapon designs are cool and the game looks like a lot of fun (great graphics, just like Serious Sam, although Will Rock seems to have a higher polygon count and better shadows).

this takes me back to the days of doom where there was no messing about with thinking what gun to use on witch enemys its just fire until you run out of ammo then select another played the PC one then got it on the XBox i was very pleased with it; such fun, a wellcome return from all these dark FPS out there at the moment.
best thing about finishing it is there is a level select, so you can play all the best levels again and again

Ok while I am not Jag I will still answer :D

Yup, get it. It should be around $20 new and worth every damn penny!
The first time thru, it took me around 45 hours but I left no tree standing, killed 100% of the enemies, and found around 75% of the secrets. Weapons are awesome. You have a chainsaw, few shotguns, chain gun, huge bombs you can throw like bowling balls, sniper, aww hell, anything you can think of is in there. Graphics are cool - not realistic more fun looking. The game is one of my all time favs.

its a really great game to play, great graphix, sounds and man, just so many great pieces of this game- very well put-together :)

I've played this game through twice and I still haven't found all the secrets, because some are different from the PC version. So I'm going to play it throughagain and make a list of all the secrets I find so I can go through it AGAIN and get them all. Although I don't think you can do the rocket jump you can do on the PC version that you need to get a couple of them...
I just love all the crazy comments Sam makes...

Hey Jag did you find the movie set secret yet? It depicts the scene where you are standing on the pyramid fighting that big red four armed freak.
