Competitive play for Puzzle Fighter ended up with Ken having the absolute best attack pattern in the game, because it makes it very difficult for his opponent to combine the gems.
When you live in a hotspot for arcade puzzle fighter play, you learn a few things ;p

I really like Planet of the Apes, for only $10 its a great game!

Ok, so ive finally discovered Parasite Eve 2 and gotta ad this to the must have list. I really like the res evil games but this one pushes the ps to its limits.
Seems now to be a pity that parasite eve 1 wasnt released as a pal title.
KAZ, ff8 is a worthy contender, i just didnt find it as solid as 9.

graphics/sound wise it does seem that ff9 is a step above. Those darn characters tho...perhaps it can be forgiven considering it is supposed to be as fictional as possible.
Whereas ff8 seems to approach real life characters further.
The final boss sequence in ff9 just didn't do anything for me. I loved the ff7 sephiroth/super nova stuff.
And ff8 had the awesome music, and crazy full screen summons, like planets getting pulled by strings towards the characters.
