Ive been fucking around in the slot house, and ive won quite a bit of tokens.. is there any way to turn them into money or convert them into toys or prizes, or have I just been wasting my time?

I have'nt played the game in a long time but I think there are only used for playing in the arcades. I don't think that there is a way to change em in for money. I could be wrong, like I said it's been awhile.

eeeeeeek, so in other words i have 2300 tokens that i got out of HK$5 dollars.. if only i could turn it back into cash..

the problem is, you have to use actual money to play the games, not the slot room tokens.. yeah, i play space harrier alot, but i play more out-run, ive got the mini outrun machine from the arcade floor operator because i beat the top score.. then i went outside and played shitty "roll it on top" and lost all my money so thats why i was asking if i could get money from the tokens. I guess its off to running lucky hit or working at the docks for a while now.

i never tried the slots in shenmue 1, but i know that you could go online and trade in winning soda cans for special toys that you coudlnt get from the tomato store

Oh, that must have been what I was thinking about... Can you still go online with that? I did it once a long time ago with Shenmue, but I think I have 2 or 3 winning cans that I never traded in.

shenmue 1s online service got terminated last april 1st or somewhere around there, coinciding with the death of the dreamcast

Yea I didn't play too many slots because I..ummm... lost all my money on them... before I found out you needed to have money for certain stuffs... never had any tokens to trade in so I didn't know the answer
