I got a DC and three contollers and a VMU with a sampler game, for "in-store-use-only" for $10 at a fle market in Sacramento!!!! I was visiting my family up there and scored this!!! I also got a Intellivision with DK, and user manual for $5, and a Vic 20 with all documantation, and box, and packaging in really good shape for $15 and a whole bunch of 2600 carts including one of those dubble enders!!!!

Hope the DC reads the games fine and doesn't have a faulty controller port:both common. ;)

I find it really sad that the Dreamcast was cheaper than the VIC-20... it's almost an insult. I really don't understand why these things are dirt cheap. They're really good systems, and have lots of great games. Is the stigma of Sega giving up on it that bad??

As for faulty controller ports, those can probably be fixed. The ports are wired up such that a specific resistor will act like a fuse and blow out if something odd happens. Replace the resistor, and it should work fine (I believe it's a 4.7 ohm, but I've never had to change one before).

i think its a matter of supply, there are a lot of dreamcasts floating around out there, give it a couple of more years, and itll get expensive in a hurry...

yeah so buy up as many of them as you can and drive the prices up faster, then slowly sell them off at astronomical prices and become a millionare :D
