Does anyone play the Street Fighter Puzzle Game?

What character do you like to use?

Who has the toughest pattern to work with?

Any other games like this :?:

Once again I post

The proven best character drop pattern is Ken.
Second to him was Donovan I believe.
This is the result of hardcore puzzle fighter play over the course of a few years, as well as tournament results for the game.

I tend to play Hsien Ko.

But I play Ryu if I want a harder challenge.

I never would have thought Ken had the best pattern. I'll have to try it next time I'm in the arcade!

I usually play as Donovan, as he seems to be the most bad-ass character in the game. I always thought Akuma and Devilot (who the hell is Devilot anyways? Is she from some other game?) had the toughest pattern.

By the way, if you're into Puzzle Fighter, I highly suggest you check out the Dreamcast version (Japanese only, but playable without knowing Japanese). It has a counter gem edit mode, 2 extra game modes that play entirely different, and some extra stuff you might find interesting. I made a huge list of all the stuff in it in another topic somewhere on this board... I'm too lazy to provide a link at the moment though.

Devilot is from Cyberbots, another Capcom fighting game that was never released in the US. But you can always try it out on MAME.

me and my cousin always thought ken's pattern was the best, but should sakura's be 2nd toughest since its so similar to ken's? i like donovans too, but if you break a bunch of stuff but dont finish your opponent off its over. donovans upper levels are huge blocks of blue and green. i like sakuras the best.

ubersauras, you talk about puzzle fighter tournaments, i want in on some of that. thats easy money for me.

Well, they don't hold any in michigan anymore. What happened was the guy went to run the tournament, but none of the guys playin would sign up or get off the machine. But they continued to play for money anyhow, takin bets and whatnot.

Ken's is the best pattern because its so damn hard to break through due to how the blocks are colored and set up.
