Fianally got this game today after waiting for the price to go down so my broke ass could afford it.. what a great game this is.. its so addictive and fast paced, the graphics made me drool all over the place.. 60fps made me quit drooling because damned if this isnt the fastest paced game of the panzer dragoon series.

Its only 29.99 now, so you have no excuse not to get it if you are a broke somamabitch like me :P

Yeah the game is sweet. Action is fast paced and non stop. Graphis are absolutely gorgeous. Wait until you see some of the later bosses. Some boss battles will take 1/2 hour or more. Game is pretty short however, but you unlock the saturn version after you beat it. (Warning Saturn version will look like poop after playing thru this game).

you get the Saturn version either after five hours play time is clocked up or you complete the game on any hardness level

some of the sub-games are very good

I played a demo of this game and bought it the next day. Absolutely gorgeous graphics and incredibly fun to play. I can't recommend this game enough to anybody that has an Xbox.

I will likely be getting a Xbox before long and this will probably be the first title I pick up.. (aside from the pack-ins..).

Which Saturn game is on the disc? PD or PDZ?

noone likes unique games anymore, everyone wants cookie c utter FPS games. its sad :(

Yet all the gaming press RAVED over panzer dragoon orta.. along with anyone who has ever played it. I guess the saturn was too obscure of a system for people to be familiar with the game? :?

i think its a very big shame realy, and 'Enter The Matrix' sells thousands! prohaps 'on rails' shooters just aren't populer these days with the casual gamer

I love PDO. Game was so much fun and looked kick ass to boot. Shame it got skipped over for the most part but I'd much rather have a sweet underrated game than a cookie cutter so so game any day of the week.

Probably so...Rez is a fantastic rail shooter but it never really sold like I think it should have.
So anyone with a PS2 and likes Panzer Dragoon games or techno music should check that one out.

I feel your pain. PDO made us pick up a used Xbox. KOTOR made us buy a *new* Xcox after the used one decided it didn't like Star Wars ... or nearly any other game for that matter. :x We did get in-store credit for what we paid for the Xbox at the used place. The owner is cool like that, and she guarantees all of her used. I was about 90 minutes into KOTOR, and bigferret and I decided we had to be able to play KOTOR. Add another retarded console purchase to our hardcore gaming resume, thank you. :ponder:

Thankfully, I was able to rescue my PDO save file from the dead Xcox! I got one Halo save, but none of my Morrowind, dammit. I'll probably play Panzer some more when I get tired of KOTOR.

Note to self: NextGen consoles must be purchased brand new...
