I got the Multiplayer Demo last night. Pretty cool game. I think I like the Disc Arena better than the Light Cycles.

I got the demo from IGN.com. We'll need an Atari-themed server. :D

yeah, it`s gonna rock i think. I hope they add standard death match to multiplay as well, even though disks are sweet, deathmatch will be different enough to make multiplayer very versitile. can`t wait for september, to many good games

I really wish this was a virtual reality game...but it still looks really cool.

I have it as well...but I couldn't get the disk arena one to work right. I could run around and jump...but I could never launch a disc off to tag any hits or hit any of the targets?! Light Cycles is sure sweet though...and the computer AI is pretty damn quick at those quick split nano second decisions...hehe

Figuring out how to throw the disc messed me up at first too. You have to select it first. (Press the [ or ] buttons or scroll the mouse.)

Is this going to be a pc or system release?
This is the first i've heard of it, so I'd appreciate some info.

As far as I know it's PC only. (And I don't really care if it appears on other systems becuase I don't own any of them. :P )

Anyone else played the demo yet?

The Light Cycles game is very disappointing. The controls are horrid.

On the other hand, the Disc Arena is a pleasant surprise. Think of Discs of Tron in a first-person perspective!

Ok, I've got my server running (finally!) If you're interested in playing with other Atari fans, find the Disc Arena server called Ancient Gamers. I'm your host, TROFF. :D

BTW, if there is ever a password on the server (and there isn't now) it'll be easy to remember. Atari.

Is anyone else bothered by how the faces are color instead of the original movie's greyscale look?

They were bold enough to keep the rest of the stylings authentic, but they just couldn't bring themselves to intentionally do B&W.

Not as bothered than the fact that it's just a game and not a movie (that was originally speculated when the Tron website went up).

Oh, well...I guess Hollywood would have screwed that up anyway.
