Check out this video. It's the best looking graphics I've ever seen. Can't wait for it! (BTW, PC only. No stinking PS2, Xbox, or GameCube. )

Yupp, it's looking really sweet! I have read that they will simplify customising of the game and include a map editor. Looking forward to creating a few maps myself.

I cant wait for this game, It has got me more exited than any other game ever. Hopefully (definately!) it will smash every other FPS into pieces like the original one did when it first arrived (and still does!)

I'm looking forward to the game, but not so much for the graphics. It's the realistic physics and AI that has me excited! I have a feeling Half-Life 2 and Thief III (when they're released) will keep me busy for some time to come.

Actually Valve has officially stated that there will be an xbox version. They were not originally planning this but aparently the HL2 engine is very Xbox friendly somehow.

Thx for that link. Hope Thief III will be as good as if Looking Glass would have developed it... *holding on to socks*

It actually uses the game engine from Deus Ex2. Graphics are tight.

Deus Ex 2 is still PC bound, correct??
I never got into Theif for some reason. Mostly cause i hate having two keys for running and walking.
But, back on the subject, HL2 is gonna be the sweetest game evar. I got it reserved and i watched the 20 minute E3 trailer. Simply beautiful graphics, awesome physics, and cool story.
I`m trying to not look at any more videos or pics or read any preveiws so i can be surprised once i get the game. I can hardly wait, this has over taken BREED, Halo PC, Fire Warrior(Well, almost), Tron 2.0, and Deus Ex 2 as my most anticipated FPS

Half Life 2 looks like it is going to be really good but I am really looking forward to Counter Strike:Condition Zero more so than Half Life 2.

Im not really a HL fan at all, Something with the movement that seems kind of wrong?? However HL2 is looking pretty damn cool, I'll give it a chance.
For u counterstrike nuts, Have any of you ever played Action quake 2 that came out long before CS? This was the best q2 mod ever. I liked it so much that i fealt that CS was robbing too many ideas from it and not doing it as well.
