My stepfather's having problems. He keeps getting a "save error" when he tries to save his PS1 game data onto a normal PS1 memory card in his PS2. Now I've neve rhad this issue myself and was wondering if anyone had an yideas. Is it the game he bought (007: The World Is Not Enough) or something else?

No problems saving on my memory card. Game's confusing.
Checking memory card slots had a screwy looking save slot for it on the card. Deleted.
Tried saving in slot 1. No dice.
Tried saving in slot 2. No dice.
