I've wanted to get my hands on Sonic 2, but have never been able to find it for around the $10 price. Last I saw it was TRU and it was still around $30. :(

Trooper... so how many games you currently sitting on?

Oh great Grandmaster Clint, I am but a beginner compared to you!! I'm nowhere near 148 games for the DC :)
I'll try to remember my measly collection fo games for the wonderful DC:

Chu Chu Rocket * 3
Dead or Alive 2
Dynamite Cop
Ecco the Dolphin - Defender of The Future
F1 World Grand Prix
Fighting Force 2
Marvel vs Capcom - Clash of Super Heroes
NHL 2K
Phantasy Star Online v1
Planet Ring
Power Stone (Jap)
Quake III Arena
Shadow Man
Shenmue
Sonic Adventure 1
Soul Calibur
Soul Fighter
Street Fighter III - Double Impact
Trickstyle
Ultimate Fighting Championship
WWF Attitude

So that ought to bring me to 21 uniques. Not much to brag about :)

The one game that's gotten most play the last week is definetely Dynamite Cop, it's great to be able to sit down and play a game without having to set aside loads of time (since that's what I seem to have the least of right now)

I've mostly been having a blast with my newly aquired Mega Drive(Genesis)/MegaCD/32X and the games that I haven't had the time to try out on that one before. Damn it's so much fun to be able to play the games that I could only wish for when I was a kid.

Cheers!

When you subscribe to as many threads in as many forums as I do, you tend to forget what the topic was sometimes. ;)

I have 12 now with the addition of NFL 2K and NFL 2K1. Two pretty cool, and detailed, Foot Ball games. And I don't even LIKE sports! But at $.49 and $1.49 each respectively, how do you pass that up?

My local Fry's Electronics had until a few months ago stacks of Virtual Tennis and Space Channel 5. They hung around $4.90 for a while, went to $3.90 for a few months, and then down to $.90! I sold off my copy of SC5 some time ago (after buying it I discovered to my horror that I have absolutely NO rhythm) so it was nice to pick it up again for less than a bottle of Dr Pepper.

I've got so many DC games that i'm not sure of how many I even have. I filled up a 60 CD holder and just set new ones on shelves in piles scattered around my room. I probably have about 80 or so. Although I only have one or two working controllers. I'd like to pick up a few spare controllers while I can still find them in the wild.

Yup, I count HalfLife. It is after all a full-fledged game. It could have - and should have - been released. Oh, it really, really should have been. Wish I had a clear jewel case and the tray inserts so it could look just like any other DC game.

What do you guys think of the Baseball 2K2 game? Is it worth $4.99, for a non-baseball fan? I'm not big on baseball (I live in Pittsburgh, so no explanation needed!) Seems to be the only remaining new game I may be able to grab in the wild.

Example, I don't watch, play or particularly like tennis, but I love both Virtua Tennis and Tennis 2K2. I may not get all the details and specific moves, but I can play well enough to enjoy it and win. I have NFL2K1, and while I like that, I sometimes get messed up because you have to control more than one person at a time - especially on defense.

Think I'd enjoy baseball, or find it too complicated?

I don't like sports, but I've paid around $20-$30 on games in the last few days.

I say pick it up anyway! If you don't like it, return it!

Well, I was very pleasantly surprised by WS Baseball 2K2. No, make that extremely surprised! I'm gonna be playing this game a lot.

The controls were no were near as confusing as I feared they would be. IMO, it's even easier to control than the football game I have, NFL2K1. Plus the graphics are astounding. I was happy to see they have Pittsburgh's PNC Park in the game. The stadium looks dead-on - you can even see the spiral walkway ramps in the back. Plus, the best part, just like the real thing, is the city skyline.

Only thing not very accurate - the full-house crowd. I mean, this is Pittsburgh, where are all the empty seats??? ;)

On rookie, I win in blowouts. The couple times I tried it on pro, I lost both, but the second time I didn't get crushed, so maybe after a while I can move up to pro and have a chance of winning, and still have a challenge.

Cool! Heck! Street Fighter III alone is worth the $35!! :) Good deal!!!

Wetrix is kinda cool and odd at the same time... and as far as Mr. Driller
goes, guess I should open it up!

MegaManFan... am I the only one that respects the game Omikron: The Nomad Soul?

Aside from the fact that yes, it is slightly sluggish, the game is just 'cool' :) (at least, I think) Seems like a pretty big development and is one of those sleepers. I played it on and off 4-5 hours a day for 4 days then went to work (haha, funny how work can make you forget everything) and haven't thought of it since (which was about 4 months ago)

Brian -- I have the front cover and a somewhat decent back panel for the Dreamcast (but I've yet to print it out) but once I do, I'll keep you in mind. I know how it's nice to have a complete game with insert/panel/and all. Half-life I'm speaking of btw...

Ya know, someone else had posted images for HalfLife - front and back cases and the CD itself. But I could never figure out how to print them out in the right size - they were too big. Even when I tried to use my CD burning software, for example, the image for the front cover was too wide - it extended to the sides.

On another note, Mr. Driller is a fun game. Very colorful, I like the sounds. It proof you don't need a lot of flash to have an enjoyable game.

But I like Wetrix even more, and it's even simpler, probably. The whole thing of raising land to hold water, getting the rubber duckies and the rainbow multiplier... but you've got to watch out for the earthquakes (kinda reminds of the 'shark factor' element from Fishing Derby) and you need to set aside a small area for bombs.

Hmmm. I got them from cdcovers.cc so I figured they would be the right
size to print :? I don't have a printer so I couldn't check. Weird.
