I am buying a cool PSX Arcade stick set up from ebay to use with mame and stuff but I don't have any USB adapters for it. (It needs 2)

So does anyone know where I can buy them? :ponder:

No idea, haven't used one of those in a long time.

They are much cheaper on eBay by the way.

I actually saw cheap USB adapters for this in Radio Shack. They were only $7.99 if I remember correctly.

I can't prove it, but I think Radio Shack's selling the Soyo ones, which were rather bad.

They had noticable lag between when you moved a control and when the system registered it.

In other words, yes, it really is better to pay more.

I bought an USB adapter from ebay and it works great. It looks like a small blue-ish triforce and takes in 2 controllers in the same unit. It has a small lightbulb that lights up when a pad is plugged. It works with both PS1 and PS2 pads. The unit comes with drivers on a floppy, but Windows ME and XP works fine without them. Lik-Sang has a 4-ports model (great for playing MAME).
