Ok. I watched the video. It didn't help at all. They smashed it in too small of a frame.

But a Google search turned up the exact thing I wanted. Go figure.

Weird. I replied but the post didn't appear here. It instead showed up on "Page 2 of 1". WTF?

Anyway, I said I found exactly what I wanted.

Sort of.

Not really portable material. Maybe "Wearable"

A "Wearable" Game Cube would be more easy and practical. All the components are available off the shelf. In fact, any system can be made "Wearable" if it has the following components available:
LCD Screen
Controller
Battery

Hmmm... I smell a project coming on.

Yes. Yes. I know. But I'm not in the mood for Humor right now. This forum is acting screwy.

At least it doesn't say "Page 2 of 1" again.

Well, if Nintendo were to actually work on it, I'm sure they could cram the Gamecube into a smaller housing and slap a screen on it. After all, they designed the thing, so I'm sure if anyone knows any tricks to make it smaller, it'd be them.

Anyone have a converted file? One in a file format that doesn't suck? Which actually leaves only QuickTime. But I'll take Real if I have to.

You're kidding, right? Quicktime is to Apple what WMV is to Microsoft. They both suck... in fact, I have an easier time playing WMV files than Quicktime in Linux. I really wish people would use more "standard" formats like MPEG or even DivX... or better yet, actual open formats like XviD or Ogg Theora (Yeah, yeah, wishful thinking...), at least that way, everyone could watch them. At least Real media is slowly dying... good riddance.

Sorry, by Quicktime I actually meant MPEG. It's sad that so many people (Even big companies like Electronic Arts who made a 25MB SimCity 4 paperweight AVI) make AVI's and WMV's using codecs that can't be used everywhere. At least QT has less codecs and I've never had a QT file not open on any platform.

MPEG-4 would be preferable. It's small and lightweight and doesn't suck. But not all Windows users have a viewer for it.

Anyway, I don't need the file converted anymore. I saw it, I was impressed with the first part and how it continued working, but once they brought out the sledgehammer, I just got angry. So I don't need that anymore.

Unix operating systems (Linux, BSD, etc) have a hard time watching Quicktime videos... Apple never made a Unix version of their software, so it's only recently that people have been able to reverse engineer the codecs well enough to play them under Linux.

DivX should hopefully become the default. Any Windows user who doesn't have the codec installed really should do it... it's freely available, and I imagine future versions of Windows will come with it.

I guess this is getting a little off topic though... I tend to ramble when it comes to computer standards

Gee, a video of a bunch of no-life suburban rich kids destroying a Gamecube their parents bought for them by dragging it from a car that their parents bought for them. What a waste. They could have given the damn thing to a children's home or something if they hated it that much. What's the purpose of destroying it?

Who knows? I know. For 15 minutes of fame. That's all. They film themselves destroying some expensive electronic device that they or their parents paid good hard earned money for so they can HOPEFULLY become famous... for a few days.
