I was walking into a shop that specializes in recycling old electronics and to my surprise, there's an arcade machine standing where there was normally a pile of junk.

Turns out it's R-TYPE II!

The cabinet was all beaten up though. There were holes where a 2 player button set up would have been. It was beaten up but it still played! I put in 2 rounds and was surprised at the color of the screen. It was whitish with everything else in red.

The sticker on it said $250. Unfortunately, I'm pretty broke at the momen. I wouldn't rule out on an arcade machine for my apt though. I have some space between the couch and the dining table for it...LOL.

It's too bad. I'd buy it and fix it up for sure.

Wow.. If I were there and had money, I probably would think really long and hard about it. That's really cool.

Was it beat up too much to not make it worth $250? Like how bad was it?

I'm sure someone could fix it up really nice.
