I bought a brand new N64 cleaner today, manufactured by Pelican. It figures they wouldn't give you any instructions for cleaning the system, just the carts (which doesn't help me, either. I use swabs). What do I do here? I can't wet one side of the cleaning cart with solution and keep the other side dry, that would get the other side of connections wet when I tried to dry. Do I just wet both sides and let it dry on it's own?

PS- You think this solution would work okay with an original NES cleaner? I can't see any reason why it wouldn't.

I would. Unless it came with came a second, seperate cleaning wand to use specifically for drying, I'd clean the contacts and then let it air dry for fifteen minutes. Has worked for me without fail for years. :)

It came with two separate cleaning wands, but those are for carts. It came with only one cleaning cart for the system.

As for cleaning the NES, I'm pretty sure the solution was the same in it's own cleaning kit, I'll probably use this one since I've been out of NES solution for years.

Soooo, has anyone actually used one, or does the air dry route sound safe? Just want to be cautious with my favorite 3D system :) .
