yea its called final fantasy crystal chronicles and it uses the gba as the contoller, rather like the dreamcast's vmu device so u can see all your infantury on the screen. and i dont think the GC will be dead by christmas as FFCC is out in november, so it should boost the sales a bit.

Anyway, if Nintendo switched to only having a handheld console and supporting other consoles, the only thing that would worry me is an emphasis on networking gaming over "party" gaming. I'm not too inclined to go looking for random strangers online who may or may not be cheating and who might be spending an umilimted amount of time practicing, but I would like to make sure I have great "get folks together on the couch" games to play.

Actually most games that are online enabled also have mulitplayer (split screen and system link) capabilities, making these nice "party" games as well. If that's all your into then haveing the ability to play online would just be viewed as a bonus if you ever decide to go that route.

Also, I think Nintendo's hardware is the most visually attractive out there.

I'm less concerned with the way the console I buy looks... I'm just gonna change the color of it anyway. :D

Is it true that the next Final Fantasy installment will be GameCube only? If so, that should surely boost some sales.

The next installment in the Final Fantasy series is FFXI and it's a PS2 exclusive and I believe online only. FF Chronicles is a FF spin off adventure I believe but I really lost count of all of them after number 8.

i heard about this shit earlier... I'm gonna have to ask my nintendo rep at the place i work at about it... But honestly she didn't even know Kirby for gba was a remake (somewhat) of the nes one. I was just like OH BOY!

BTW, As soon as all of the Blue Box PS2s are gone they are only going to have the black box ones that include the network adaptor according to sony. Has anyone else heard about that?

I dunno. Today we got more blues in actually. We just got blacks in a couple weeks ago. Now we get more blues. We're confused as you are.

Our Nintendo Rep's smarter than yours. It's amazing they wouldn't know about their own company. Though, I'm sure even if they did know something about the GCN being discontinued or whatever, they wouldn't tell you. And I'm sure if Nintendo knew anything about it they wouldn't let the Reps know. So anything you hear from the Rep would be rumor anyway.

I wonder when our Rep comes again. I hope to be there that day. Reps are cool. I want more toys! Or pamphlets. One or the other.

I like to take the stuff we throw away like the inserts for the binders and such. On an unrelated/semi-related note, last time I found a bunch of signage from YEARS ago in the trash. Like they had been found somewhere and finally made it to the trash. It inclused a Genesis sign saying "Sega Genesis - Budget Titles - Previously Played" devided into three parts for three cases I guess. Another was for Nintendo. It had the Super Nintendo, Game Boy (Regular logo) and Nintendo 64. Plus a bunch of characters from the popular games of the time. And a few extra smaller paper signs the same height but a half as wide for Game Boy and Game Cube stuff. (These were from the last quarter or so. One had Pikmin and SSB. One had Mario Kart Super Circuit. One had Wario Land 4 and the last had Golden Sun. All the first half year faves.)

Yes. Garbage picking can be fun.
