I'm sure there's a list around like this, I just can't find it. Looking for a complete list of every atari game and compiliation on every system since atari.

I.E. Namco museum on N64 and PSX

Thanks

Travis

Dude, that's a pretty tall order... I don't think there is an actual list anywhere, so the best you'll probably get is looking through whatever gets posted here. Also, are you looking for games that were actually made by Atari (like Asteroids, Centipede, etc), or just games that appeared on the 2600, most of which were not made by Atari (like Pole Position, Berzerk, etc). If it's the latter, it'll be an extremely long list.

Anyways, here's my contribution:

Centipede (remake for Dreamcast, PSX, others?)
Asteroids (remake PC, PSX, N64, others?)
Pong (remake for PC, PSX, Gameboy, others?)
Combat (remake for PC)
Space Invaders (remake for PC, PSX, others?)
Atari Anniversary Edition (Dreamcast, GBA, others?)
Tempest 2000 (remake for Jaguar, PSX, Saturn, PC)
Tempest 3000 (remake for Nuon)
Defender 2000 (remake for Jaguar)
Breakout 2000 (remake for Jaguar)
Missile Command 3D (remake for Jaguar)
Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure (many systems)
Asteroids/Missile Command (Lynx)
Battlezone 2000 (Lynx)
Battlezone 1 & 2 (PC)
Yar's Revenge (Gameboy Color)
Space Invaders (Gameboy)
(Hell, everything is available on the GB, I'm not listing them all)
Frogger 1 & 2 (remake for Dreamcast, PSX, GBA, others?)
Q*Bert (remake for Dreamcast, PSX, others?)
Q*Bert 3 (SNES)
Ms Pac-Man (Genesis)
Pac-Man World 1 & 2 (PSX, Gamecube, etc?)
Pac-Man (coming soon for Gamecube)
Donkey Kong Country (SNES, GB (sort of ), GBA)
Donkey Kong 64 (N64)
Xenophobe (Lynx, NES, etc?)

Like I said, the list goes on and on... many of the more popular games were available on both the NES and the Gameboy (although these are better described as arcade ports rather than 2600 ports).

I didn't think the PS got T2k. I only know of a sequel, known as Tempest X3.

TX3 was very similar to 2k....I think the only real differences were in the power ups, like a stupider AI drone.

Ah.

How could the AI drone be dumber, anyways? All it did was move towards the nearest enemy.

My friend has Tempest X3, and the only difference I could tell was that the texture mapping in the corridors was different (and much nicer actually). If you already have the Jag version, don't bother with the PSX game.

He said "modern" which to me means PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, and GBA. So go here:

Incidentally, I picked up a copy of Arcade Classics for the Game Gear just yesterday... it has Centipede, Missile Command and Pong. Missile Command is unusually slow for some reason, and Pong without a paddle is blasphemy, but Centipede is okay.

Screw modern system :P

My only complaint with arcade classics on game gear is that it takes like 5 years to get past all the opening credits. The Pong AI though is HARSH. In all the years I've owned it I've beaten it once.
