2600. It's an elegant classic. It really was something special and influential, comfortable and stylish.

The original 2600 stick is a classic design and wins hands down.

Unlike the last one, this is a very easy decision for me.

Real Joystick > Pad

The Atari 2600 stick all the way.

I am always happier if there is a 2600 stick in my hand than when I am holding a Jaguar pad... and its not because I lack opposable thumbs...

Vote 2600.

Ooo, now here's a tuff one. Atari vs Atari, classic vs new, fondly remembered vs barely acknowledged.

Go for the 2600. In the end, the Jag controller was just another D-pad with six buttons. The keypad is only unique in that it's a recycled old idea.

You can never beat the gaming joy of a joySTICK, and a single fire button.

shit this is a real tough one for me -
can i vote for both? ;)

for the simplicity of games back then compared to now the 2600 is perfect, and for the games of the Jag era and now the Jag controller is perfect (at least for me)
im gunna go with the Jag Pro. :)

Jag had a nice pad but the 2600 is an all time design classsic.
It's gotta be 2600 for me:)

Hmmm, very difficult.

Much as i like tha Jaguar Pro and the extra buttons, i need to consider when it was released and its impact.

I think the 2600 Joystick is just to classic, too important historically and culturally to not win.

So even though i'd rather have a Jag Pro pad most of the time

I vote 2600 Joystick.

ok how is this done, i dont know if I missed it or whatever but when do you stop it or whatever because the Jag vs Sat was 7-6, but then there was one that was 13-3 and this is 8-5 and could add up to 16 or stay 13 like the other one

The 2600 joystick is definitely one of the most important and influential controllers of all time, loved by millions of gamers for many years. The Jaguar ProController, while not nearly as widely recognized and influential as its ancestor, holds its own as one of the best pure digital controllers ever conceived.

My heart tells me to go with the 2600, but my head tells me to go with the Jaguar. I love 'em both, but can only pick one here. As I'm not voting purely on influence, my choice this time is going to be the Jaguar ProController.

I love the 2600 stick quite a bit, but I have to admit - the Jag controller feels pretty good. The 2600 felt better when I was a kid, but now, I've got to go with the Jag.
